It’s World Wide Wednesday! Here’s what’s news in the world of foster care and adoption around the web:
- Addressing the Bigger Picture: Adverse Childhood Experiences. The American Academy of Pediatrics collaborated with Futures Without Violence to develop this free, online module to describe predictable effects of adverse childhood experiences on children’s physical, mental and behavioral health.
- Meaningful Connections Tip Sheets. These tip sheets from the Children’s Bureau list ways that parents, programs, and community partners can promote child well-being. The tip sheets address the following topics: raising your kin, human trafficking, support after an adoption, and much more. Spanish versions of the tip sheets are available.
